Welcome to the
Hillside Volunteer Fire Department Official Website. Hillside was
established in 1926 by our first Fire Chief - George Sturmer. We
were Incorporated in 1931 and have just celebrated our 75th anniversary.
Hillside serves the Towns of Rhinebeck and Hyde Park with it's Fire
District and Protective District. Last year we answered 269 Alarms,
our busiest year ever. Thank You for visiting our Website. We Take
Pride in Serving our Community - the County of Dutchess and New
York State.
